Dear all,
A quick reminder that we are having a class today at 17.30 - the one we deferred from last week. I have also uploaded a file with work for the last class of this course, which we had agreed to have tomorrow at 17.30.
I would like you to do the following:
- Christos, please read the Introductory Chapter and the Conclusions from Rigsby’s seminal  book on Asylia,
- Lydia, please read chapter 8 from Chaniotis 2005
- Manon, please read Chaniotis’s article on Megatheism - Chaniotis, A. 2010. ‘Megatheism: In Search for the Almighty God and the Competition of Cults’. In One God. Pagan Monotheism in the Roman Empire, edited by S. & van Nuffelen Mitchell, 112–40. Cambridge. I attach it to this message.
If you think that this is too much for too litle time, we might agree to do the class on Thursday or on Saturday morning - let me know what you think,
